Here the highest layer of protection for the immediate surrounding environment is required. Most of the time only labor intensive hands-on methods are suggested to install the posts and supports required to elevate these walkways above the surrounding wetlands. In the most crucial areas vinyl and composite based coatings should be used so that no transfer of chemicals can occur. The materials used for the structural part of the decking itself are also available now in these coatings, and using these types of materials can ensure that no dangerous chemicals can leach into what are most often the most important nurseries and breeding areas on the planet. They are disappearing at a very disturbing rate.

At the same time it is still highly important that we maintain access to these areas in order to observe and monitor the plants and animals that live in them, and so we can learn more about them ourselves, and teach our children about these delicate environments. The best education of all occurs when the public is able to go and see it all in person. That includes every member of the human population including scientists, the young, old and those with restrictive handicaps.

Waterside Construction and Design can provide a complete design package that will meet with US Army Corps of Engineers permitting standards and then go and install it so people can actually walk far out into the wetlands without causing any impact to this very special world.
